The Alville & Captown Railroad
The Wedding Train

In the summer of 2008 my daughter was married in our back yard. Several months before the wedding she told me she would like to have a "wedding train" running during the reception. I had no idea what to do. I thought about it often and finally come up with an idea. I used some Bachmann passenger cars and 4-6-0 locomotive. Fancy bows decorated the locomotive and the top of the coaches. More bows, signs were added to the combine. I found a white bell and hung it in the baggage section of the combine. Conveniently, there was a light right above it. It really looked cool at night.
